BBQ eveningOur brazier masters will prepare for you pig “costoleccio”, sausages and chicken on two big BBQs and while you are awaiting for the right cooking time a rich buffet with cold pastas, salads and "bruschette" will satisfy your appetite. All will be washed down with excellent red and white wine.
Pizza eveningAn enjoyable evening for children and adults with lots and lots of pizza. In our antique wood stove, our Pizzaiolo (pizza maker) prepares delicious pizzas in many different ways. The pizzas are served in slices on wooden cutting boards and the Pizzaiolo will go on till you tell him to stop. A buffet based on salads, bruschetta, beer, red and white wine will complete this cheerful pizza night.
Typical Tuscan dinnerIn a fascinating panoramic scenery of the antique walls of the farm, you will have the possibility to taste characteristic Siena dishes. Our excellent cook will delight you with typical meals of our area, from antipasti to first and seconds courses up until dessert. A very good tuscan doc red wine and an excellent white wine will accompany your unforgettable experience among tastes.
Olive oil tastingLearn to appreciate and to compare the quality of Montestigliano's olive oil versus commercial Olive Oils, we will explain in depth the traditional way of production. In November being the normal time for the Olive harvest, it is possible to have special guided tours of the Olive groves and visit the "Frantoio" pressing works, where our golden nectar is produced. A taste of bruschetta on the run will be a must! (For groups of 12 minimum, based on our property, special olive oil tastings)

The Royal Golf La BagnaiaFinally opened 18 holes international golf club!
The Royal Golf La Bagnaia Course is the first Tuscan, 18 holes designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. It is a Par 71, which is 6,101 metres long, covering an area of 1300 hectares, perfectly harmonized within the gently rolling hills of Siena. The Tuscan landscape is a typical example of Inland Links, which refer to the Scottish Highlands with the "Rough" that waves in the wind. The course is enhanced by beautiful lakes and a majestic Club House, where you can enjoy a unique view on all 18 holes and the towers of Siena. Playing on this course is a unique and exciting experience not just thanks to the mastery of Trent Jones, but also to the incredible views across nature and the medieval city of Siena that are available from every hole. Cycling in Montestigliano
Cycling in Tuscany is an unforgettable experience of fun and entertainment that will lead you to discovery true gems of our area. Cycling is a perfect way to practice eco-tourism, respecting our surroundings and taking the opportunity to find the best physical and psychological condition. Montestigliano is the perfect place to explore by bike and a great starting point for the more adventurous traveller. We are surrounded by beautiful woodlands with great trails and lovely spots for picnicking. You can have a day with a guide or we can provide itineraries for those who want to venture further a field alone. Four of our itineraries are available to download at the bottom of this page and you can purchase at your arrival the local guide "Val di Merse by bike" with all the cycling itineraries around Siena at the price of € 15. Rentals are available by the day or week whichever takes you fancy or fits into your itinerary. The cost of a tour with a qualified guide of the Italian Mountain Bike Association is of € 150 per excursion. The bikes can be rent: mountain bike € 40 per day; road bike € 40 per day (helmet and repair kit included), Hybrid €20.

The province of Siena is probably one of the most beautiful areas in Tuscany and a paradise for hikers with its stunning views, soft hills, wild forests, medieval castles, hamlets, hidden Romanesque abbeys and gorgeous little towns.
The landscape changes within the few miles from the famous Chianti hills to the majestic woods of the Sienese Montagnola. From the almost unreal and vast landscape of the Crete Sienese to the magical Val d'Orcia with its breath taking spaces. But beyond admiring all this beauty and richness of nature, art and culture, we will get to know the people of land.
An all-inclusive week; a unique blend of hiking and precious encounters with local people who will welcome guests into their homes, part of these wondrous landscape.
